MA147 - Yellowtail House

Yellowtail was impressively clean. It has great space both indoors and out. The bed was very comfortable. There are beach towels and fishing poles available to use, as well as a bait bucket. The house is across the street from an airport. You do hear the planes but we did not find it annoying. There was salt and pepper but no other condiments so you may want to bring your own. The pool was a nice feature. I thought with it being a fitness pool one would be able to "swim" but the jets were not strong enough for that. I did not inquire about it as it wasn't that important to me. Just wanted to mention it. Great location for easy access to other keys.

Great "keys" backyard with hot tub, fishing, & nice shade. We loved the house, the yard, & the location. Centrally located in Marathon. Very affordable & we will surely be back! 10/10

The Yellowtail House features an ideal, private location with boating access and a clean canal for swimming and kayaking. Bikes were included along with coolers and a bait freezer for a nice touch of amenities. The Swim Spa/Splash pool was an added bonus after a long, hot day on the water. The inside of the house is nicely decorated with many nautical motif items added to the Keys vibe. Additionally, the kitchen is well-equipped and the outdoor grill makes preparing meals easy. The beds are super comfortable and the ac makes for a very comfortable stay. Absolutely loved this place!!

Clean house with nice extras such as the kayaks and bikes. There place was well equipped with things like paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, laundry soap, etc. The kitchen had the basics to cook a full meal and a new Keurig coffee maker that did both cups and pots. I was slightly worried about the airport, but it was not a nuisance at all. In fact, there was a row of shrubs that blocked the view of the airport and had a beautiful walking path across from the house. Depending how the wind blows the canal can have grass, but we only experienced that a few times during the week. Also, bugs are not an issue when there is a breeze, but I'd recommend a thermacell for calm days. The fenced in yard was great for our dog. No reason I would hesitate to rent this house again.

Boat ramp is 2 streets over which made it very easy to get the boat in and out of the water. Canal / boat dock behind the house was very convenient as well. Location and house was perfect for our vacation.

Love the spot ! Your air conditioner works well! Had to keep it on 77 degrees! We made a friend in the canal behind the house … a barracuda that stayed around the bridge…… it would come out and just hang out and watch us….. literally! We named it Sheldon! We saw a parrot fish, some kind of bright blue fish, a jellyfish, the neighbors, on the other side of the bridge said they saw manatees! I love tree in the backyard, we had a green iguana fairly big one , hung out every now and then. We would definitely come back again ! We would definitely come back again!

Very clean, very cute, looked to be newly remodeled, very well stocked inside and outside from kayak's to bicycles to a gas grill etc. great location except for the small airport which is beyond anyone's control. The noise wasn't as bad as the smell from the jet fuel when the planes took off. I would not let that stop me from renting there again. I used my kayak most every day in the canal behind the house. Felt safe and comfortable hated to leave.

Yellowtail house is absolutely adorable, comfortable and clean. We had everything we needed to cook and grill some meals at home. The location is in a nice neighborhood behind the airport away from traffic. The Marathon location is central to so many spectacular beaches/tiki bars/restaurants, etc. all along the Keys.

We had a very pleasant stay, the house offer plenty of room for up to 6 people and a nice backyard on the water with 2 kayak and paddle board. Cooler and 2 beach chairs are available as well as a small beach umbrella. Recommend and we will come back soon!
