MA118 - Coral Cove

The house was actually way better than i expected. We have stayed in alot of rentals in the last ten years and i think this wad our favorite. It was so quiet and peacful. The back canal and pool was so nice. It was clean and fun to relax in. There was plenty of time and the only regret i have is not booking it for an extra week. Definitely check out the sunset grill at sunset. It was beautiful.

This property served our family very well, centrally located for both Key West and Miami. As for the house, perfect place to relax in the pool and easy access to local restaurants and water borne activities.

This property is beautiful and in a great location. We woke up every morning and enjoyed coffee outside and took in the view. The pool is worth heating in April and our kids (us too!) enjoyed it every day. We were able to make meals and do laundry very easily with all of the home’s amenities we even used the grill and and loved eating on the screened in porch. The pool wasn’t clean upon arrival but that was fixed on day 3. That was our only real reason for giving the property for stars because we do believe it should be fully cleaned before we arrived and I would suggest that as a property management issue rather than the home. Otherwise the property is absolutely stunning!! Recommend!

Grounds were perfection. Loved the faux grass and chaise loungers (so comfy!) Kitchen large and easy to navigate. Second bath could use new shower fittings as could not get water to get hot enough. Loved the neighborhood for walking.

We loved our family vacation at this comfortable home in Marathon! We enjoyed the pool, seeing the iguanas, the fish in the canal, and having the comforts of home. It's located centrally on the island so that in any direction there are plenty of things to do. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, highly recommend!

We rent a lot of homes, and we found this in the top 10!! The home was exceptionally clean and well cared for. We had a pipe burst by the shed and the staff came out and had it fixed in short order. Everything is close by and accessible. It was very quiet** we were off season** but we did meet a couple of neighbors, and they were very friendly.
We have already planned on next year!!

We absolutely loved this house!!! Layout was awesome- loved having green space In The back yard. Pool was perfect temp, plenary of outside seating. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for the backyard barbecues!

We spent Easter vacation here. We parked our 18 ft boat in the back. This place is very well kept, peaceful, easy access to a couple of restaurants and some things to do.

House was very clean, location was great, loved being on the canal. We knew going in about the boat blocking half the view, didn't really affect our stay any. Pool was great, but needs the skimmer fixed so it can work properly. Definitely has a leak somewhere, we added water several times in the two weeks we were there, was unusable our first night there until the pool crew came the next day to clean it and add chemicals. Was heated, so that was fantastic since the weather was cooler most of the time. We fished off the dock, poles were provided but we had to buy our own hooks and such. Wish we could have used the kayaks on site, but the owner said no so we rented a double kayak for one day from a local company and explored a few of the canals. House was pretty well stocked, just bring your own foil, cling wrap, baggies, trash bags and a good sharp knife. Grill lighter didn't work so we had to go buy a lighter and fire it up by hand. Would definitely stay there again, especially if they get the pool fixed. Great communication with Vacasa, fixed most issues right away or at our convenience. Oh yeah, just beware the bird that likes to peck on the master bedroom window at 7:00 every day (close the hurricane shutters, that works) and bomb your car under the carport daily! Luckily there's a hose right by the driveway!

We visited Marathon for the first time this year. The property manager assigned to us was Danielle. She was AMAZING! She was insanely responsive and so friendly. She went above and beyond and was just truly fantastic.
Prior to Danielle being assigned to us, communication with Vacasa was a little more difficult than I’d like, response time was long sometimes (days) and I received the same confirmation message about 6 times. However, once I brought this to Danielle’s attention, she was great about reassuring me that she would contact the customer relations department and have that looked into. She was always available by text and was fast to respond!
The house was wonderful. It’s perfect for a family! The rental seems like it’s fairly new on the rental market, so there’s some growing pains with comfort and appreciated amenities, but overall the house was very charming. It was incredibly clean and well kept. We will absolutely return!

We just loved the privacy of the home. We really enjoyed having our own pool…always crystal clear. We saw beautiful fish and even a shark off the deck. Iguanas we’re fun to watch.

This house was perfect for our week. We opted to not bring our boat, so the lack of dockage was not an issue for us. The house was clean, tastefully decorated and well stocked! We launched our kayaks and tied them to the sea wall and took them out daily. The pool was a favorite of our kids. Great location, quiet neighborhood and kind neighbors. Short walk or bike ride to the Vaca Cut bridge gave us plenty of opportunities for night fishing. We’d stay again in a heartbeat.

nice pool, would have been nice to have a few more hours of heat on the pool. Having the owners boat parked out of the water gave us more privacy, if you don't mind looking at a boat. Nice location

Great house, location, pool. Picture of back yard makes it look much bigger than actual, but still a nice back yard. With the owners boat on the lift, it blocked 80% of view from house. Good-more privacy, Bad-the boat is 80% of what you see, and no room for your own boat. Would have been nice to have a few more hours of heat on the pool heater.

What a wonderful home! If anything we were pleasantly surprised with how spacious the home was compared to the pictures (especially the bedrooms)! We absolutely loved our stay here, and can’t wait to visit again. The pool was the perfect size, the backyard size was amazing, and the living space was perfect for our family (6 adults and 2 kids).

House has everything you could need. Backyard was beautiful, astroturf was perfect for the kids. We visited 2nd week in December and paid to get the pool heated which was definitely needed, it did get to 87-88 degrees. We caught all sorts of fish right off the dock. Extremely wide canal. Great house, great condition, would 100% stay again.

If you are lucky enough to rent this home for a week.....DO IT! This house is laid out well and is comfortable. House was clean and well stocked with cookware and appliances that fulfilled our needs. Our host was very responsive to any questions we had. The little yard and pool are are the perfect spot to relax and soak up some rays. The dock area is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or look up at the stars at night. Just be respectful of the property owners boat docked on the lift. We even loved watching the little school of Parot fish that were swiming around. The area restaurants are close and have delicious food! Thank you to our host for the opportunity to book their property. Your home allowed us to have a fantastic family getaway week.

House is big, well laid out and is very well located in central Marathon. Publix, Winn Dixie, Walgreens all within 10 mins. Lots of food options nearby too. The boat mentioned in other reviews was not there for our stay which made the view and fishing nice. The cameras mentioned in other reviews as well were not an issue as the one in the back was pointed out toward the water/boat area and not the pool. The one in the front of the house was aimed at the driveway. House has all necessary pans and cooking utensils. The fake grass/turf in the back was a nice addition, no dirt to track into the house. We would stay here again.

This was a great place to stay on our week vacation to the keys. Centrally located. The private pool was a huge plus. Very spacious and clean. Had a couple issues that were responded to extremely quick. Would highly recommend it.
