Enjoy a one-of-a-kind getaway in this Layton vacation rental offering a dock and a lovely beach along the Florida Keys! The rental is the perfect place to celebrate a honeymoon, special anniversary, or relaxing vacation with friends. The family dog is also welcome to join you! Inside, this Florida vacation rental is cheery with coral and teal accents, large windows, and tropical fish decor. Pull up a barstool at the breakfast nook for margaritas or begin preparations for a fresh seafood feast! The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and a dining table with seating for four. It leads to an expansive worn-wood patio providing unique furniture and a thatching roof overlooking the sea. Outside, the grounds are reminiscent of a private island, with warped palm trees swaying in the breeze, a large white sand beach, and Tiki huts to relax under. The Atlantic expands as far as the eye can see, only punctuated by a dock. The water in front of the home is shallow, with a channel that enables a boat up to 30 feet in length to reach the dock. What’s nearby: The oceanfront home is just a few hundred feet from the Long Key Viaduct and three miles to town! Located within Henry Flagler's Long Key Fishing Camp, this cottage is a historic site where author Zane Grey was a regular resident and wrote many of his books. Layton is a quaint island town with an abundance of outdoor recreation. Hike or paddle the coastline at Long Key State Park or spend days snorkeling and scuba diving the San Pedro Archaeological Preserve. Give into the breeze and relaxation of island living at this Florida Keys vacation rental. Henry Flagler's Long Key Fishing Camp is truly a magical location. A hidden gem. Extremely peaceful. Had the whole beach to ourselves. The water is constantly moving due to tides, which is nice as you can sit, swim or wade in the water and enjoy the cool, clean water going by. Has all the beach amenities you can ask for. Docking our 22’ boat was not problem. The management company was very responsive and took care of a couple issues immediately. Make sure to bring your own spices and some extra citranella candles. The house itself is dated but you don’t rent this place to sit inside. The outdoor area is second to none. Can’t wait to go back.

Nice spot for a quiet vacation. A bit hard to find as it is just before the bridge. Located between Marathon and Islamorada. 2&1/2 mile bridge is a GREAT morning walk. Fishing off of the bridge or from the property dock. Great deck for enjoying a cocktail or dinner. lots of "toys" provided i.e. paddle boards, kayaks etc. Overall the description on AirBNB is accurate. I'd rent this place again!!!!

Me and 2 of my best friends stayed here for a girls trip. Amazing place with amazing views. Perfect to relax and unwind. Close enough to still do sight seeing, but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. Thank you!! We will definitely be back!!

Nice accommodations on the Atlantic side of the key. The outside space offered both covered and uncovered areas for sitting and relaxing. Nice beach and dock for swimming, snorkeling and fishing.
